I-6 engine swap
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum.
I'm currently about to take on a project of swapping an engine from a 67 Mustang to a 68 Falcon. Both are almost identical straight 6's. The tranny in the Falcon is a 4 speed manual. The tranny in the mustang is a 3 speed automatic. Other than that they're identical. Does anyone have any pointers, tips, or just stories they would like to share with me.

You will have to install a pilot bushing in the rear end of your crankshaft. It's a commonly stocked part at most good parts stores.
Or remove the one in the Falcon engine and reuse it.
Otherwise it sounds like you have everything you need.
It doesn't get much easier. Lucky you...

Awesome man!
Any pictures would help. And if I run into any problems I hope you don't mind if I shoot you a question or two.
Curious, what 2 cars did you swap the engines from and how long did it take.

i dont remember if ur keepin the auto or manual but which ever it would be that hard of a swap and if ur keepin the manual i would recommend getting all new clutch parts cause i learned the hard way that if a clutch assembly sits for too long it craps out on u
it is basically a bolt in swap and if i remember right its only like 20 bolts max that will have to be pulled
