9" ?????

9" ?????
My car should have a 9" Rear End, but from the recognition guides it looks more like an 8". Am I wrong?

Looks like a 8" to me. If the car is a S code it would definitely have been delivered with the 9" so perhaps it was swapped out at some point.

Easier to tell from the front. Can you get a socket on the bottom bolts? If not it is a 9".

i thought it was the other way around
if you cant get a sicket on the bottom bolts then it is a 8inch, if you can its a 9inch

no, valley had it right....easy socket access=8", hard to get socket on=9"

The metal tag on the top bolt is an ID tag. Youll probably have to clean it up with some scotch brite to read it, but itll have all the info you need on it.
