Default 1970 boss

There is a 1970 boss mustang for sale near me. It's selling for cheap so my plan is to buy it and resell it. I was wondering if there are any markings that would show that it is in fact the real thing? Also it has an auto trans; I don't know if that matters. I haven't gotten to see it yet and I'm not 100% sure about the engine it has. Just wanted to get as much info on it as posable so I'd know what to look for. Thanks.

An authentic Boss 302 could not be purchased with an automatic transmission. Look for a "G" in the VIN number, it designates the Boss 302 engine. This link should help alot.

Sorry but I don't have any. Supposedly it has a good paint job but the interior is lacking alittle. But I'm not dumb I'm not going to buy it if its crap. I just need to know if there any bosses that seem to sell high or low. I noticed that some sell for 70,000+. I just need to know if there is any reason for one in good condition to sell for alot less.

No there isn't and the car you are looking at most likely is a fake.

It could be a rusted out clone. Check it over carefully. Here is some more info.

its prob a clone like everybody has said. but if its cheap a 70 fastback is still a very desirable car.

yeah sounds fake (auto, but you never know maybe the owner has one leg....[&:]) but if he desides to sell it for cheap anyway a Mach 1 is still desierable with an FMX tranny.
