Default leaded fuel?

hey guys, been awhile since ive been on. Kinda gave up on the mustang project, but i figured im goin to follow through with it.

So my question is, what do you guys do about leaded fuel? The engine needs to be rebuilt, a couple cylinders dont work. So what needs to be replaced?

thx

I believe most changes are in the valvetrain, hardened valve seats are a must.

if it needs a rebuild go for it mostly only thing the lead did was help the valve seals they do sell somthing you put in the tank that does the same thing as lead but its lead free

If you are having the engine rebuilt by someone else, then they should know to use hardened seats, but just mention it to them anyhow.

The heads will have to be machined in order to accept the hardened valve seats. Went through that with a set of 69 351 heads I have, I also had them machined for 7/16 studs and guide plates.
