At a minimum I'd put some fuel dryer in the tank. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble shooting later if you start with fresh fuel!!
whats fuel dryer?

Dunno for sure what's in it. I think it's primarily alcohol. You can buy at the parts store. It's primary use is to take the water out of "bad" fuel. I think it's the same stuff as gas anti-freeze. I'm sure someone else on here knows what I'm talking about...maybe they can come up with a product name. Been years since I've needed to use it.
