Pulling out the 302
Which cam you getting? Intake? Heads? Exhaust? Oil pan? What color for the engine? Chrome valve covers? Which air cleaner? Cool air filter? What color for the engine bay? New wiring harness? New ignition?
Come on....we have questions...we want details.

Stealth manifold and Holley DP (600-650...depending on the rpm's you're shooting for) are always a good combo to start with. A cam in the .500 range with 225ish duration @ 0.050" is a decent cam for a 302 with good flowing heads and a stout valve train.
Rustoleum makes a line of 'hammered' paints that look good in an engine bay.
Now for the important question: What's your budget?

You may want to think about finding a roller long-block from a company like Coast High performance. That way, you'll have the heads and roller valve train. You even have room for EFI if this is going to be a driver, although it will pretty much finish off what you have for a budget.
Otherwise, add a set of some decent cast iron heads to what I previously said and you should be in the high 200hp range, maybe 300 if you go for higher compression (only if it isn't a driver...for a driver, stay under 10:1).
Got pics of the car you're working on?
