tranmission fell out

Default tranmission fell out

When I took my engine out this weekend the transmission fell as if the mounts were completely broken the tranny bell housing is almost touching the ground and fliud is pouring out of the tranny is the seal shot in the transmission, and is there even a front mount for the tranny or is it supported by the engine?[>:][>:]

yeah its supported by the engine, if you remove the engine you must support the trans. if you dont, well you know the results now

Dittos" The transmission and engine should be pulled togather or, as stated above, the transmission will fall down, only being supported by the "1" mount at the rear of the tranny.

thanks for the laugh if i pull the engine and leave the tranny i put a jackstand under it or a jack
