eeerrrrmm...whats a lope?
It's what you get with bigger cams, poor idle quality and low vacuum, not a good thing for the street or daily driver. It's good for a high reving beast though.
ok makes sense now...we call it lumpy. I love that sound.

it used to mean your car was a cop magnet but now they spend the time chasing kids in popoff valve rice burning recycled beer cans with "Nismo, Dismo, Kenwood and Lookatme" sitckers all down the side.

ok, i found the #, and its a 670cfm, would that be good for the kind of mods im requesting, or should i go bigger?

thats a pretty good size for a street car on a 351, i would try and stay between 650-670, if i had more gas money it would be around 700-750

That carb should be good but after you build it if it acts like it whats more you can always change the jets to a larger size.

The size of the jets won't matter if the carb can't flow enough air. Carbs are sized based on air flow not jet size. All Holley carbs from 300 cfm to 1200 cfm can run the same size jets.
