Default 289 ovrhl shop

looking for recomendations on a shop anywhere in the country who can professionaly and truly do a complete O/H on my
289 C code V8 2v Motor and later stand by their work.
Also same thing for my C-4 transmission.

Names, Phone #'s , Internet sites, all are welcome.
Thanx.

Call the Mustang club in your town, or one nearby. Ask those guys for tips about which shop is best in your area.

Just curious. If you're going to spend the money on labor and parts, etc. Why not just get a reputable crate motor.? they come with a warranty and in most cases, have authorized repair shops around the world.

Just seems you'd be saving alot of time, money and possible frustration in the long run.

You can get a very nice crate motor built to your specs and all you do is take it out of the crate, install your sheet metal and off you go.

Just a thought.
