Default Shifter fluency

Sorry for getting your hopes up. I want to know what you think will be more fluent for shifting for a 5 speed>

My 69 mustang

friends a ********, his got a huge ego and thinks his car is the best in every aspect, he thinks it has EFI too, when i think they just have like 3 2bbl's also the car is a POS, it doesnt start. he thinks it will beat my 400 horse war with its 300 horse engine. it never will seeing as it has 100 less horse power, and weighs aroung 1000 pounds more.

If so, you have the advantage with the 1-2 shift being straight down instead of crossing a gate right away.
