Yeah just got it up here, bought it back in june..lol.. its not so nice up close, the pic does it great justice.. its rough and rusty. Almost as bad as the stang is.. will be over to the GTO section soon..
From the description, and the fact that it's one of those cars you can't quite easily identify, I'm guessing it was a Fairlane Fastback. The back windows on these got progressively bigger from '66 through '69, and the Fairlane was the plain Jane version of the Torino fastback body. There were Fairlane Fastback GT models that were great sleepers, but the fastback body style was not very popular in Fairlane trim, which means there wasn't much trim at all.
