well thanks guys, thats exactly what i want it to be. a little bit of me. i know my dad would have rather seen it restored original, but i talked him out of it. he has a 65 coupe he is workin on right now- i think itll have a little bit of his own tastes in it too. its gonna be dark green with green stripes i think.

There are basically two good sane reasons for putting on fatter and taller tires on a classic Mustang that I can accept, but one of them is not just for looks.

Great looking car. I agree with Soaring on the wheels too. Leave those 14's on there. All the big ones will do is take more of your power.

thats an awesome job, i like the qtr wings. my dad and i are probably gonna get some 15x8 styled steel wheels for the back, and leave the 14x6's up front, for the look. and we want some thicker marks when we smoke em.

i think im gonna go with some 15x8's back there. that would just look sick i think. so what would be an appropriate reason for bigger wheels and tires then if not for looks also?

15's would look good. I thought you had in mind huge ones.

oh no i just want a little bigger on back to lift it up a little and also make the front look like its sitting lower. also fill in the wheel wells a little bit. i hate big open wheel wells on a muscle car.

Biggest size to go on the 65/66's (that will look good) is 17's. You can go bigger, but then you start getting hoopdee
