i need to try to tighten fender down....it is the area by the cowl and windshield on drivers side...i have not had a chance to see if there is a bolt in this area i can't see or what.....does anybody know what is behind or under this area that holds the fender on? this area can be pushed down about a half an inch very easily...do to Halloween have to replace glass and thought would take care of this also if i don't have to disassemble the whole car.......thanx for any help don

I'm not sure what year your Stang is, but on my 66 there is a bolt at the top of the door jamb. If you open the door and look in at the top you can see it. I just disassembled my whole front end and noticed that this bolt was missing on the passengers side, and the fender was up against the windshield trim, causing a scuff in the paint. Sounds like you may have the same problem.
