Default 66 Shelby Hertz Tach alignment...?

Does anyone have measurement specs on exactly where the Tach sits on the dash of a 66 Shelby Hertz? I have found LeMans stripe measurements, and some other items on cobranda.com, but I need help on this one...
Thanks!

I have not found official measurements. If you do, please let me know. I will be installing the same tach this winter.
The pictures I've seen have been somewhat inconsistent. some are angled more than others, some are centered, some are not. That could just be the way they were installed. This was the 60s, and fitment wasn't what it is today.
Generally, it seems that the tach is centered in front of the speaker, with about 1" room clearance for the top of the tach to the glass, and angled towards the driver.
Sorry, not much help. You might check with MCA to see if there is a Shelby judge who could clue you in. That is my plan for help, if I can't find any written documentation.
Good luck,

I wish I had that for you but alas I don't. I've been around a few shelby's but I never figured the tach thing out. My Ex brother in-law had a 66 GT350H and the tach was mounted to the dash. My former boss had a 65 GT 350 and he had the dash pod with the tach and the oil pressure in the pod. I don't have any messurements for you but could you educate us on which shelby's had the pod and which had the tach mounted to the dash?

Oh man... Nice Question. I wish I had a real one. I found a beat up A code fastback that was totally molested, and was not a true GT. It had a 302 from the 80's and a B&M transmission. So, I decided to make it into the car I wanted. The Black and Gold 66 Shelby Hertz. The paint and body work has cost almost 15 grand...
I am over budget, and will have a very nice expensive Mustang that I probably won't be able to sell for what I have into it. My uncle says "buy them done"...
