i was wondering what makes a boss 302? i have a 90 lx 5.0 and was wondering the differences are in the two motors. thanks

for starters yours is fuel injection, the others carbed. the internals like cam, crank, pistons, are different. the heads are 351C heads

the use of 351c 4v heads, screw in freeze plugs in the block, solid lifter cam, 289 hipo rods special pistons, etc.

And the way the water is routed through the heads is different since Clevelands have dry intakes versus the wet intakes on the Windsors.

no but down in aussie country they have destroked 351c to 302c
