GT 500 E pictures
Here are some photos of my latest build. The car has a supercharged 5.4 32 valve modular with a 125 shot of NOS. I think I may be the first to put this in a 67. Tremec TKO 600. Accel Gen 7 DFI engine control. MSD DIS 4 spark module. Mustang II front suspension. Piaa lights, Aeromotive A 1000 return fuel system, Scat Pro Car seats, custom dash, Pioneer DVD with custom sound system. And many other custom features.

i like the fastbacks i never did like the gt500e since its not a true shelby to me using the 4.6/5.4 is alot of work id go with a big block

it was probably for that exact reason....its easy (or easier) to drop a big block carb engine in....but the guy wanted a challenge im sure...which explains the modular engine....breaking new ground.
Sure the big blocks and small blocks would be a snap to install, a modular supercharged 5.4 32 valve is a huge engine. I think its probly the biggest gas engine Ford makes. The heads are about a foot wide each. I guess when I seen the movie, as a Mustang lover, I was awed by the beauty of "Eleanor". I told myself someday I would have to build one. I wanted it to be special. I was trying to be the first to build this engine/car combo. I have done other restorations, but by far this has been the most fun (and difficult). Sure it was a chore to do but I think the end result was worth it.
