Restomod pronunciation?
While at the MOCA show this summer, I was asked if I had a restomod or an original car. I quickly responded that it was an original. When I went to park Ol Yeller to show it, the parking guy asked the same question, and I said it was not a restomod, but it was an original. Anyway, the terminology got mixed so I want to know how to pronounce restomod. Is it REEsotmod, or is it prounounced REHstomod? I would think that the
REE would be right in that restore is preceded with a REEstore, as in restore , ie. restored with modifications.

RE: Restomod pronunciation?
rest - o - mod. maybe its taht southern/texas accent messin ya up..
one time a while back I was drivin through Tennesse, stopped at a gas station and asked the guy behind the counter how far it was to Nashville. he responded Aisheville or Aisheville? it sounded EXACTLY the same to me.
Anyway, ORIGINAL doesnt wound anything like RESTOMOD now does it? I think they just had a sever lack of communication between the two people as to what each entailed. kinda funny that HOTROD magazine was the first to use the term RESTOMOD, at least to my knowledge, now its a common household name. Like Bubba Gump.
