Sound Deadener and POR 15
I think I'm going to go get some sound deadener and POR 15 to do my floors tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure what sound deadener to use but I'll figure that out in the audio section. Could anyone give a rough estimation of how much this will probably cost if you've done it before?
Can't remember where I recently saw an article comparing sound deadners (perhaps someone will have it bookmarked) but this is the one that the fellow in the test figured worked very well for the price.

Try doing a search for sound deadner tests and see what pops up. He even tested the peel/stick stuff at Home Depot...

Can't remember how much I paid and I don't carry the receipts around with me.
But, POR15 does have a website. My personal recommendation for the POR15 is make sure you have everything you want to paint ready to go so you can do it all at one time. The effort it will take to clean the brush isn't worth it-especially since you probably won't be able to clean it entirely-so I recommend using a cheap brush and throwing it away when you are done for the day. The POR15 goes on real easy, no brush marks, and forms a real nice barrier, so I do recommend it. Of course, it is much more expensive than regular paint from the local hardware store/home improvement center or Rustoleum, but it's much better, as well.

Eastwoods Rust Converter is supposed to be equal to or better than POR.
Also, I have used bedliner in the past. Yes that is correct, use POR or Eastwoods rust converter, then take truck paint on bedliner and do the floor pans. They will always be protected and it does insulate them. Probably not as well as dynamat though.
