so as some of you may know im looking into doing a c4 to t-10 or t-5 swap. i love the classic hurst white ball shifter look, but my favorite shifter of all time is the mopar pistol grip like in the cudas. man that is one hot shifter, what do you guys think of one in a 65 stang, i think there isnt really a doubt that it would look a little weird, but i wonder....

 

i love those shifters too but for some reason it seems that it would look....mmm 'off' in a 65 stang and id go with just old skool white ball but hell, its your car

I think that'd look pretty cool on a 65.

otherwise you could always custom a shifter handle yourself

but id get the handle just black cuz wood would look outa place in my stang. (they make all kindsa different lengths)

that's kindof what i was thinking when I said custom. check inside our rally car...great to grip, but better with the angled handle bar like your pic. that sits on a std hurst toploader shifter and cost like $15bucks
