heater controls

so i have heat in my car finally but when the car warms up it dose not blow very hot? i was wondering if i have the controls in the right position? (in a 68)

do you know what thermostat you are running? WHere does your temp guage sit at normal operation.
it will take some time to warm right up anyway. Fan working?

there is one control to open the heater tap (this should be full on or full off) and another to mix in some cold air as a means of adjusting the temp. the third is to divert air to the screen.
