Default Need a pic

i am working on a 67 mustang with the original 200ci engine, that I've just rebuilt, with a single barrel carb. I can't seem to fully recall how to connect the mechanism (connected to the car) that transferes the motion from the gas pedal to the carburator throttle. I've got it to accelerate but it doesn't come back to idle when I let go of the gas pedal, I think I'm missing a retract spring, but I don't know where it would go. This has me questioning whether Its right to begin with

Can any one send a pic of how they have it set up on their engine...

Thanks
