he made the point I was going to make. You've got gas, now you just need compression and spark. I'm with him, it's most likely battery, cables/wires. However there is the slight possibility it could be a mechanical issue. There are good tests you can do to check your starting/charging/ignition systems. Information is readily available with a quick search through Google. You'll find web pages with instructions, diagrams, etc. The tests are easily performed with a simple DVM. If you stop by your local auto parts store they can test your battery for free. Good luck, |

well mine just doesn't want to keep running when its cold and the choke is running properly but it takes a few to get going then after that its ok cept today i found out that when the engine was rebuilt that hardened valveseats weren't installed so i now know why i get puff in my exhaust and why it idles rough
