Default helllp 4R70W??? transmission id

Was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of help decoding a transmission. I am putting a 4R70W tranny into my 68 behind a stroker. I emailed the guys at Baumann Electronic Controls and they told me I can rebuild the tranny with an upgraded valve body and new clutches and they advised me to go not with the AODE but the 4R70W as it was much stronger and could easily handle 500 Hp with the upgrades. Anyhow to make a long story short I ordered a tranny from the salvage yard out of a 2001 F150 with 40,000 miles on it. It just arrived and I can't really find any web pages on how to decode the casting numbers on it or the tag. The casing on the trany reads "RF-F7SP-7006-AA (I think this means a 1997 thunderbird trany???) The tag reads PKF-CL 1L3P-7000-DA 014049 (Don't have a clue here) The output shaft housing has a casting number too that reads RF-F3LP-7A040-AA Basic 44A (Does this mean it's from a 1993 lincoln???). If anyone knows or can send me a link to where I could be helped it would sure be appreciated. Thanks
