Default Headers

ive been looking to buy some headers for a while now, and i certainly dont want to spend 400 bucks on a pair of JBAs. What do you guys think of the Hooker Competition headers? does anyone have them on their car? thanks in advance.

There are alot of choices for small block cars but BB's are pretty limited. What motor do you have? I've got Hooker's on my 69 390. They are tight but fit well. They do run about $400 though.

ive got the obligatory 289 in my '68. hooker makes the competition headers for 150 bucks. the super comps are 400, and im on a college kid-buying-parts-with-his-loan-money budget, so thats a little out of my price range. but the hookers look pretty much the same, and im just wondering how they clear the wire boots/power steering, etc. thanks for your help '69.

Hooker worked good for me. I got a 1966 mustang. I don't have power anything, no a/c. I tryed blackjack and they did not fit. This was about 14 years ago.

Hit a swap meet or classifieds for your budget. Not much to loose...used work fine if they look to be in good condition.

we have hookers on ours and they fit fine, I didn't install them though so I have no idea about that, but it has power steering and fits fine, should be pretty similar between '67 and '68...
