Default 1966 289 V8 Coupe Engine Rebuild

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum. I have a 66' 289 V8 that needs to be rebuilt. I would like to build a 289 HIPO and keep it stock looking if possible. I do have to change from a 2 barrel carb to a 4 barrel.

Does anyone know of a reasonable priced, excellent engine rebuilder in the Chino Hills, Diamond Bar or even Orange County area they have used that can do this?

You responses would be greatly appreciated because I am going nuts not being able to find the right shop to do this.

Thank you!

Richard

Very Nice! What size motor is this? How much power does it produce?

You can get a crate motor shipped to you for less than that with more power heres a link and they can make it look stock. http://tandlengines.com
