Default Quieter Ride

Any ideas for a quieter 68 convertible ride? Drove it home from the shop tonight after getting transmission pan/gasket/tail/filter, water pump, valve cover gasket, carb, and radiator work done. Noticed no right tail lights and no horn but the heater was HOT! Pretty noisey. Has carpet and sheet of insulation under that but still noisey. Suggestions? Fix one thing, another needs repair - almost like a marriage !

I just started putting Dynamat Extreme in my coupe. Did the rear deck around the speakers, will do the rear floor next. Just doing the rear deck made a pretty good improvement, no more noise from the trunk area. We'll see how under the rear seats and floor will do, the Flowmasters are fairly loud, so anything to mute that is welcome. The only issue is the cost, man that stuff is not cheap.

How expensive is it? I have a 6 cyl single barrel so not much noise there!!! But the road noise is bad.
