Default Assembly - day 3.

I would have liked to have the Subject read : Assembly - DONE!, however, it's not the case. Close, but not complete.

I have some issues to resolve with door panels with NPD, but everything else is done. When I ordered the Deluxe Interior Package, I asked them to include everything I would need to install it. I guess we all have different meanings of >everything< but you'd atleast think everything meant the very basics. I didn't recieve the chrome trim that finishes off the door panels. No sense in installing them when I'd just have to remove them and take a risk on pulling the clips thru the material.

Never the less, I will drive an hour and get it right. It'll have to wait untill Friday as I scored a 12x24 shed today for 1k. It's less than 6mths old and shingle roof. A co-worker of my wife is moving out of state and needed to get rid of it. They said make an offer and I did. They paid 6k+ delivery about 5 months ago and used it for storage. I will make good use of it and the price was hard to beat. I just have to get it to my house tomorrow.

I took some pictures before we got started of the carpet, dash and back seats. I didn't get any of the front seats because it was dark when we finished. Everything is still dusty and filthy - I'll do a final clean when I get the panels taken care of. ( Edit * I added a few more of the package tray )

I don't recall right off the top of my head. I want to say 1100 for everything. From Stereo to floor pans.

That's a good starting point. If you go standard and not the pony interior you may be a little less.

Just tell yourself you're only doing those and that's it. Once you start pulling stuff apart you'll see many more things that need attention.

Somehow I can attest to that...

Looks nice, havent seen carpet in a Mustang in some time now... Gives me hope. For the improvement it makes, it really doesnt cost that much does it?

For a 80/20 Nylon / Rayon blend was 120 bucks + shipping from NPD. I'm sure once the carpet relaxes it'll fill in better. Right now, the Nylon is very stiff and it looks thin in places. Over all it fit better than I thought it would. Was very minimal trimming - like an inch here and there to get the seats to sit correctly ( bolt holes, etc. )
