Need a new dash pad for the '65 convert. Going thru the parts books, noone has a tan/palomino colored one.

What color should I buy and what do I dye it with?

I got the palomino colored dash pad from http://www.texasmustang.com
Check with some of the other mustang parts places as well, because that is a fairly common color. If you can't find one, then get the "Ford dyeable neutral" that Texas Mustang has to sell. Then use palomino vinyl dye on it.

 

That's what I thought but the 2 parts books I have do not list the color. thanks for the help.

Go to the FAQ, and look for the "where can I find parts" section. Click on that and we have every mustang parts place in the world listed. Check out some of those to see if they have palomino.
