SpeedO not working - when mechanic did tranny work he said it was the gear in the dash. So I removed instrument cluster to repair speedO. Looks like it's tamper proof! I have a Ford shop manual coming - will it cover that repair?

 

IT COVERS THE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE SPEEDO AND SPEEDO CABLE

 

Might have to send it off for repair then. I see you can buy the gears....

 

While I have all this out is there a way to check the accuracy of the other gauges?
