well just wanted 2 let every1 know i blew my engine in my 66 : ( kind of depressing but good news is that i just found a 302 in the junkyard with 90,000 miles just bought it for 900 and having it rebuilt over the break ?: )

just driving my car like a maniac i was racing a 95 gt and afterwards my car sounded like it was knocking i took it 2 a my mecanic and its got a burnt valve and a blown head gasket right now my car is blowing anitfreeze out the passenger side tailpipe lol not good but i should have it back by like jan 5th i hope...

Sorry to hear about your motor. My Buick motor has been tapping (valve I think) for QUITE some time now.

A valve job and a head gasket are a lot cheaper than $900.

 

sry guys its not that i want 2 get rid of it its just that i was accepted into UTI in houston texas 2 months ago and i just want somthin more reliable for the long trip i live in lex, ky its only a year long program so as soon as i get bac im goin bac 2 the classic maybe a 67 or a 71 we will see and the reason im just gettin a valve job is that im not sure wat else could be wrong with my motor so im just getting a whole new block its a pretty gfood engine ive had it checked out already im really going 2 mis my 66 though
