Headlights flicker at a prety steady tempo while driving. Any ideas?

Those old wires get hard over the years and the insulation on the outside crack. It may be a short or bad ground as the others have stated.

Could be. How about alternator/regulator or loose belt?

Need a new head light switch, which I believe is also a circuit breaker on early mustangs.
