Pulling engine and tranny

Let's try to be as accurate in our responses as we can be. I know I have made mistakes like this also. Nobody is perfect on here, and that includes everybody.

Definitely drain the fluids. FYI, you can drain the fluid out of a manual without a pump. The lowest bolt on the tailshaft housing doubles as the drain.
(Toploaders anyway...only know about good trannies)

yea.......that tranny fuild is terrible......it will drain from the the input of the drive shaft......i had alot of cleaning up to do....
if you remove the fan it should give you a few more inches to play with trying to get it out.....
i did use the kitty litter.... there were about 8 kittens in the litter i used, they played in the tranny fuild and then i cleaned them up using Dawn kitchen soap. [sm=joke.gif] [sm=smiley36.gif]
i used the cheapest kitter litter and mixed it with some cheap dry soap (kinda like biz) they worked well together....but it still works great without the soap
