So I was filling up the other day, and this kid (5 or 6) and his dad come out of the store to start filling up. The kid sees my car and is like, "Wow dad lot's or horse power, do you want that guys car?" he keeps on like this for a while, keeps asking his dad if he wants the car and what not, and the the dad was like, "Well, go ask the guy if you can have it."
The kid comes around the pump and asks if he can have it, cute as can be. I ask him what he'll give me for it, and he says I can have his tootsie roll pop. I just smiled and told him maybe if he had an entire bag of them I'd trade.
I just love kids when they see the classic cars, makes me think there is still hope for the world.

 

A friend once told me that having kids is the one thing in the world that you get more out of than you put into. Truer words were never spoken.

 

Could you imagine if they just came from the grocery store and the kid whipped out a whole bag of tootie pops?? I am sure he would have thought that he hit the lottery!

 

Does this offer still stand? I work for A-B I'll even throw in a case of beer or two.

Every time I walk into the shop with my daughter (she's 2) , she see's my mustang and says Daddy thats my car. I have a panic attack thinking about a scenariowhen she's older and I go away for the weekendmy daughter and her friends steal my car and go joyriding in it. Then my wife is pressuring me to have another, she says I need a son to work on cars with, I told her that its gonna be a father daughter hobby. I have 14 years to find and finish a project for her so she doesnt steal mine

I have a story like that from this summer. A guy shows up this year at the race track with a brand new yellow viper. Takes off down the track, half track he goes sideways and hitts the gard rail. The car was so twisted they had to tow it off the track. The story goes that the parents went out of town and that before they left they told there DAUGHTER not to touch the brand new viper. Yes thats right it was his girlfriends car......Haven't heard since

 

Yeah, I was at a filling station a month or so ago when a little black girl who couldn't have been more than 4 pointed at Ol' Yeller and said to her daddy........Mussesstang. Kids....ya gotta love 'em.

 

I wonder if they're still together?

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! My heap got a few youngin's talking. I went to Quick check one day and there were a few kids waiting outside for their mom's to come out. I pulled up and the one kids eyes got as big as dinner plates. He started asking me about the car as soon as I got out. He was asking if it had a V8, what year it was. He even said he had a hundred in the bank he'd give me for it. LOL! Kids!
