so i am getting ready to put my engine together and i know i said i was gunna get the comp cams xe262 well i called my buddy who happens to be shop forman at local dealership and i got the ford racing cam for really good deal and i got my heads redone i got a 1.55 exhaust valve and it was ported and the intake was ported and opened up to 1.85 so what kinda BHP can i expect out of this motor

 

all i want is 300 BHP and i will be happy

 

what else you got? a cam with all stock parts doesnt make much more power[8D]

 

the heads are ported, bigger valves, it has balanced crank and rods and sealed power pistons

I found prev owner and he told me that he was doing all off this stuff but something happened and he needed money so he needed to stop with the balancing and pistons i am finishing it i am doing the heads the headers i have weiand action plus intake 600cfm carb and the ford racing cam so its not all stock plus he told me that he had the tranny beefed up

 

You can get +70 horsepower with just a head swap and a decent camon a 302.

 

did u gfet the roller cam?

 

i cannot afford roller cam i wish but engines did fine b4 roller cams i got the ford racing cam the one that is the 214/224 @.050 that should be plenty fast with the headers and intake plus the head work
