Yeah, that's the torque box. My old gal doesn't have even one. They came out in 67 I believe for the coupes and fastbacks, but the verts had them back in 65-66. The 67 coupes and fastbacks only had one on the driver's side.

The only numbers you have to worry about is the 7T01C179006 that is stamped on the inner fender. There were 179006 Mustangs just like yours produced in 1967. I saw a 1967 GTA in the parking lot of Brookshire Brothers grocery store a few days ago. Now, that is a collectible.

have any idea how many manufacturers would kill someone just to sell 180,000 units in one year, let alone just one type of 3 different ones? As in Coupe, Fastback, and Vert? Thatsa pile of cars, and also why 6 cylinder and base V8 Stangs done bring massive wads of cash, theres simply too many of them around.

Rarest car I have is 1 of 276, second rarest is 1 of 3500. My Mustang is nowhere near rare..

yup my neighbor has a shelby and there were only a couple thousand made its not a mustang its a dodge something and its rare i have only seen that one
