Default Electrical mystery problem

Alright, so after I got my rebuilt engine fired up and running I took the valve covers off to check the oil and there was coolant leaking into my oil, so i replaced all of the seals and gaskets where it could have leaked, including the head gaskets. Now the only electrical I unhooked was the battery terminals and the top end engine electrical(oil pressure sender, water temp, and the connection to the coil) after i got the engine put back together i hooked back up the electricaland there is nothing, no lights, no interior, no voltage going to the coil, or switches, nothing. The farthest ive checked to where there is voltage is the voltage regulator, and thats getting a good 12 volts. Ive checked and replaced the grounds everywhere and i still get no voltage, battery is good. Im not very savvy with electrical. but i do get the basic idea. Does anyone have any ideas?

You made sure all the connections to the back of the alternator are correct and tight?
