Resto/Mods
Greetings~
I have just installed the sequential LED tail lights and they look BAD *SS! 1st on my minor modifications list.
1. Does anyone know if someone is making a kit for the front park/t-signal lights? other than the walmart led plug in light bulb.
2. Any suggestions on exaust mufflers? I was thinking flowmasters.
But I am open it suggestions what would you get and why?
3. I noticed the Digital Guage kit from Dakota Digital, it looked cool but not sure I want to do that type of a mod. the cost is $600 for the complete 72 gauges and cluster gauges.
4. What kind of shocks would you suggest be best to use and why?

Nice move on the sequential tail-lights. Those are very slick. That is on my short list of gotta-haves.
I listened to a lot of different mufflers before I finally decided on the 2 chamber flowmasters with JBA shorty headers. I LOVE the sound. Not god-awful loud and it does not resonate.
As far as the Dakota digital dash goes, they are neat. I considered that also, but in the end, I tend to favor the old-school analog setup. I bought a GT tach dash setup off of Ebay and sent it to the Clock-Doc to restore. A+ work and it still makes me smile every time I look at it. I had the quartz conversion done to the clock as well as having him change it from the 120mph/6K to the 140mph / 8K.
As for the shocks, I went with KYB's all around. Given it to do over, I would keep the KYB's up front and go with a nice set of Monroe's in the back, just to take out some of the harshness in the rear.

I was really shocked as to the ease of installation of the LED units in the tail lights they just stick to the tail light lenses and plug into the stock sockets.... I ordered mine through Virginia Classic Mustang as they offer the kit with flasher unit for $139.00
[align=left] I have ordered all the catologs but go with the best prices..
Nice Gauges!
I had thought about jacking the rear up an inch or so to give a little rake, but figured I didnt really want it to look like a teenagers car. LOL
Ive got so much to do its a one thing at a time thing. Ive had to stop driving it due to its starting to run hot. Ive had the radiator flushed, didnt work.changed the oil that didnt work, next is recoring the radiator (it needs it anyway) Im strating to think water pump but the water is really circulating in the radiator.. The temp gauge has always run with the needle sitting at the E in temp now it runs between the P & the H ..(oh Im so out of practice dealing with cars) its become that process of elimination.
Once I get the heating problem fixed then its off to the rebushing shop then shocks then mufflers.
What kind of flowmasters did you put on? the 40's?

so i don't know much about those gauges but i'm going with this form mustangdepot.
for shock i would go with kyb they are the best for the buck
and for exhaust i would go with long tube headers, a Dr. gass X-pipe and what ever you decide on mufflers

Its not hard but time consuming. There is alot of cutting on the bezel and fitting. I cut up the old one for testing before I did it to the new one. Also bought a backplane for the new gauges from NPD that the autometer gauges will fit onto then you bolt it onto the back of the bezel..
