Default RE: Alternator Bracket

Phew, I was going to say, if this guy is putting an alternator where the PS goes, everybody start praying. . [sm=joke.gif] However, i'm pretty sure with it half tightened, it'll leak under pressure. If not now, eventually. The longer bolt with the nut behind it doesn't sound too bad. Specialy with a longer bolt of the same size. (If you can get a nut to fit in that tight spot)

Default RE: Alternator Bracket

Thanks guys! I got it all back together. Since I'm having a shop do some freeze plugs and a lower control arm for me I just decided to have them tap the hole or find a way to put a nut on the back side of the bolt for me so I don't have to hassel withit! It's not going to be done until next Wednesday though and I'm just dying to be able to drive it already!

PS. Thanks for the diagram Bob, that was also very helpful!
