Default Need help with engine codes.

65 coupe.
I can tell that the build dates on the car and engine are 5 mos apart. Is this unusual? Would this be considered a "matching numbers" car?

Thankyou. Brad

Mind you I am no expert on matching numbers, since the only original piece on my fastback is the ....uhm......err....well in any event,

Which is older? Is the engine older than the car? If the engine is older than the car then I would say that it could be considered a numbers matching setup. However, I doubt very seriously that Ford let a mustang sit around with no engine for 5 months waiting for an engine, so if the car is older than the engine, I would say probably not on the numbers matching scenario.

Maybe a warranty engine??
