Default Where do they go?

Was removing the heater box to clean it and get a look under the dash for signs of leaks when I noticed on the passenger side of the engine down at the exhaust manifold two vacuum lines directly off the right of the carb connected to nothing. I have a 289 2bl. The heat riser tube is missing and where it would bolt to the exhaust manifold is where these tubes end. They wouldn't go there would they? Tranny vacuum line is in place so I'm at a loss where these would go. One of them has heat resistant covering on it though.

I believe that you are talking about the choke tubes. I believe that one runs from the passenger side of the carb to the front of the distributor. The other runs from the intake manifold (directly behind the carb) to the exhaust manifold. Hope this helps.

Thanks the one with the fabric on it went into the exhaust manifold it must have shook lose. The other one is zip tied to the exhaust vac line, the end looks like it broke off I can't another end lose anywhere. It is pointing towards the back of the engine. Anyone have drawings showing where the vac lines go?
