got all the parts installed on my car that i got for xmas. 4 barrel 650cfm holley, edelbrock performer RPM airgap intake, B&M shift kit. got it back at 11 o'clock today and took it out for the first test drive. my god, what an imporvement over the stock set up! (2barrel c code) the first time i punched it from a stand still it got sideways! that was unexpected! oh man, i feel like it will run a 10 second quarter mile, even though i know its probably mid 15s! its awesome, gotta clean er up and wash all the burnt tire off the rear fenders! then go out and drive some more! its got so much more pick up! just thought id share my excitement with you guys, i know its no beast like some of you guys have, but its mine!! tonight im gunna get some of my friends and we goin cruizin!

Are those the only mods you did to your engine? No cam, heads, ignition, headers? How is that air gap running with your automatic? Is it the stock torque convertor? Sounds like you got yourself a strong running engine. Im doing those mods next, except im thinking about going with a Stealth intake.

lol, YEAH I KNOW COLORADO!!! I cant wait for it.

 

i have petronix ignitor coil, patriot headers, full dual exhuast, the intake is running fine with the auto, i have the B&M trans go shift kit, drop it into first and its got loads of power, put it in drive and it starts in second, which is fine for just cruizin around.stock cam and stock heads.
