Default Dash Bezel replacements

Help, I'm trying to replace my ignition dash bezel and wiper dash bezel on a 65 convertible. I put the key in the ignition, inserted a paper clip into the small hole below the ignition and turned the key to ACC, but the tumbler will not come out. My book says I just need to pull on the key as I turn it and the tumbler should come out. Any suggestions? Also, how do I remove the wiper **** to get to the bezel? Any help is appreciated!

I think you have to turn it to accessory then insert the paperclip and then it will turn on past accessory and at that point you should be able to pull it out.

Thanks for the info. I removed the tumbler but had to install a new ignition switch because I damaged it when I removed the bezel. I'm having a difficult time attaching the bezel to the switch. Is there a secret on how to line up everything? My hand is killing me from trying to push on the back of the switch from underneath the dash and lining up everything!!!!! If anyone knows of an easier way to do it, please help!
