71-73 Mach 1
Hello fellow mustang addicts. I am a new member with a specific need. I am currently in the process of a ground up, complete, rebuild of a 71 Mach1.I constructed a body rotisserie, which has proved invaluable, accessing all those often nelectedareas that come back to hault you later.I'm sure everyonehas heard ofone thing leads to another, well it did. I have now replaced just about every panel on this car to include; floor pans, truck pan, rear body panel, quarter panels (R & L ) wheel housings (R & L), fender aprons from firewall forward, fenders, every nut and bolt, bushing and gormet, available from afteramarket Mustang supply companies. One lesson I've learned from this experience,as youdisassemble, label and package everything. Although, you think you will remember where and how to reassemble, as the years pass, you willforget and lose parts in that dark hole called a garage. Now, back to my specific need. During the past several years of my restoration, and many garage mates later, my clutch pedal assembly has mysteriously disappeared. Does anyone have, orknow anyone, who would havea clutch pedal assembly for a 71-73 Mustang for sell.My email address is hollandshabit@hotmial.com.I will post pictures of my rotisserie as well asthe plans for construction, if there is any interest. Thanks much !
It would appear you and I share the same affliction in some ways. Do you have any pics of your 71? Everyone is tired of seeing mine..lol
How long did it take you to ground up? Yes rotisserie plans and pics are MOST welcome. If I can build one I wont buy one. That money can go into the cars instead of a chunk of iron to hold the car..
I took mine down to near nothing starting last October. Still need trunk floor, tail panel, and little stuff like seat risers and the molding for the hood and fenders. Seems that the only parts not being replaced on mine are the roof, upper cowl, rocker panels, frame rails, inner fenderwells, and the hump between them. Since there arent as many parts available for the 71-73s I had to repair or make a bunch of stuff already.

Thank's for all the feed back. I'll try contacting the aforementioned people. Hey, Thumpin455, the total cost to build my rotisserie was$350.00, not including saw blades, welding wireand gas, and of course labor. A friend of mind found the plans on the internet and we just altered to fit my needs, plus I believe mine to be safer than theoriginal. I will post some pictures soon. Still trying to learn how to transfer frommy camera to the web. However, I am a fast learner.
