Engine Stand
How does it work? Where does it bolt to? Is there a special one i should get for a 289?(the motor is already out of the car)
any help appreciated

the engine stand bolts to the holes where the bellhousing bolts up. you shouldnt need an certain type. the engine stand is adjustable.

The 4 wheeler is the best. The ones at Harbor Frieght are cheap and not bad quality.

You should get one if you plan on doing any work on the engine while it's out. For storage, you can use an old tire or buy a stand specifically for storage versus the ones designed to help you work on the engine.
