I'm trying to change the wiper bezel on my 65. I removed the **** but cannot figure out how to remove the stem so I can unscrew the switchto get to the bezel. Any suggestions??

 

If I remember correctly, on my 66 there is a " + " looking thing that you have to try to loosen, its hard to describe, if you are still having difficulties, I will go out and take the one on my car apart, and take a picture of it. Jack

There is a button on the the switch, behind the dash, that will release the stem.
