Default Smoking header

When I start the car I get tons of exhaust smoke from what appears to be where the passanger side header is located. (It clears once the car warms up) Seams like a great excuse to change those 68 yo rusted things. I have a 68 coupe, 302 2v, auto, PS. What are a good (reasonably priced) set to get that I won't have to make any modifications? Also, are they a pain in the @$$ to get the old ones off and new ones on do to lack of work space? Thanks All.

Default RE: Smoking header

I'm assuming unless the new headers are the same length as the originals. (which incase I would just keep the originals) I have to make modifications to where they currently connect to the exhaust.

Default RE: Smoking header

they are all shaped differently. There will be some type of modifications needed to the connector pipes but that is about it. Long tubes are a different story. I'd ask you local muffler shop how much it would be to get the headers you want and connect it to your exsisting exhaust system would be.
