immediate help !!!

i am putting my timing cover on as i type does the water pump gasket go between the water pump and the spacer plate, or between the spacer plate and the timing cover

umm, you should probably have a gasket between the cover and the spacer AND the spacer and the block...

isnt the spacer already installed on the pump? if so it goes in between the spacer and timing cover

i dont remember if there was a gaskat inside the pump and my new gasket set came with 1 water pump gasket

but the question is is the cover off the back of the water pump? if it is put the gasket inbetween the spacer and cover and put some rtv in between the pump and spacer to seal it

ok there is a gasket between the spacer and the pump and one between t the cover and the spacer remember unless its a really well machined piece of metal it requires a gasket btween them
