Product Review
Eastwood RustConverter and Rust Encasulator
I wire brushed some rusty floor boards, and then used the disolver, and then used the encapsulator. I am welding in some new parts of the floor pans, and I had to go strip off some of the Eastwood products so that I can weld to bare metal. I had a really tough time getting that stuff off of the floor pans. So I am really happy with the products. If I had that hard of time getting it off, then it is doing the job I wanted to protect the floor.

Yeah, from what I can tell, most rust encapsulators have the same chemical make-up. I used "Rust Away" that you can get at Ace hardware, and it turned the rust black and hard as a brick. I was going to order some POR 15, but didn't want to wait for it with my trunk torn down to the tank. Now, that was about a year ago that I did this. A few days ago, I have to take up the trunk mat to check on something, and the trunk is still black and hard as a brick, so I guess it has done its' thing.
