Default Air Compressor Help...

http://www3.sears.com/Paul/Leadimage...eID=00001&

okay i rearranged the garage into a shop now and i moved my air compressor and i noticed that the little screw in part on the bottom was missing out of the valve....i have no idea how this happened, it was probably from someone else moving it around in the garage but no one is fessing up....i cant find the screw anywhere.....

the air compressor is model number 919167320...its a craftsman from sears. the part i need ( i think ) is D23000...the drain valve....is this going to be correct? will it just screw back in when i get the new one?

im so frustrated right now....whenever i go to do anything on the car something like this goes wrong....and to top it all off...ive used this compressor....ONE time i think....i hope i can jut order this $5 part and be done with it....

Just unscrew the part left in the tank, go to your local hardware store, get a new drain valve. $5 and 1/2 hour of your time.

oh thank god NAPA has them....i was really annoyed having to pay $7 to ship that thing here....or take a gamble and drive up to Sears and hopefully not hit the flash floods of traffic and waste $20 of gas just idling there and have them tell me like "ohh....uhh durr....its at the warehouse....maybe....?" like they did when i opened the box and one of the wheels was broken. Luckily i ran into some semi-shady but nice employees who stole a wheel off the one of the floor models for me.

I got the same Compressor you did. I can't go hog wild with the DA like I'd like, but it works good. When I got it home I noticed that the bottom of the box was a little crushed and the first thing I thought of was yours witht the broken wheel. Fortunatly it was ok.

According to the specs it has a 75% duty cycle so it can run up to forty-five minutes in an hour.
I can run the DA for about ten to fifteen minutes before the pressure drops off to much. I'll move to something else after it fills back up to let it rest though.
