so i get my heads redone and get the motor back in the car i did everything the book said in order then i go to start it and it kicks over but there is a horrible sound coming from the rear of the engine so i am having it towed to the mustang service center down the street
What book? At the rear of the motor, I'd suspect either a starter that is not disengaging properly or having proper clearance or an inspection plate or block plate rubbing up against the flywheel or flexplate. Does the sound come from inside the block or outside?
